ABOUT US

KATANA started as a physical education class for children who have lost the opportunity to move their bodies during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We wanted to provide opportunities for them to play outside as much as possible.
Among the physical education items, there are various exercises such as tag, relay, long jump, and dodge ball, and soccer was a part of that.
From my own experiences in playing, I gradually began to spend more time teaching soccer.
The children, who had hardly ever played soccer, grew better at it in the blink of an eye.
The players themselves must possess this challenging attitude; try to learn something they never knew before, then fail, but try again, and then master the skill.
We believe that it is our duty to support them.
They grew and became strong and powerful players by participating in numerous tournaments, they
shared the joy of winning with a smile with teammates, and the humiliation of losing, they learned how to pay respects to their opponents, and give gratitude to their parents who allowed them play soccer.
This year in 2023, Katana officially became the US Youth Club Team.
We will continue working hard so that our players and coaches are able to keep growing.
